Welcome to our 2026 Primary Election Endorsements;

Per the Club’s bylaws, to be eligible for endorsement, a candidate must be a registered Democrat. All candidates must also complete this candidate questionnaire to be considered for an endorsement. Endorsements are decided by the general membership, and candidates in races with just two candidates running for the seat must receive at least 60% of votes cast to be endorsed. Candidates with more than two people running for the seat must receive more than 50% of the votes cast to be endorsed.

The deadline for questionnaires was FEBRUARY 2nd at 5PM. The candidates below submitted questionnaires are vying for the Club's endorsement. If a name has a (star) ⭐ = Club member in good standing and if it has a (heart) 🩷 = identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community.

Voting for endorsement will begin Wednesday, Feb 11th at 5PM via OPAVOTE (note this is our first time using this new platform - so be patient with us and check email and junk folders for the ballot).

We also will be holding a candidate forum (not mandatory for candidates to attend) on Feb 11th from 6-8PM via zoom REGISTER HERE
