Endorsement Meeting – March 30th 6 PM @ White Horse Inn

East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club will be hosting an ENDORSEMENT MEETING for the June 7^th Primary Election:

• Wednesday March 30^th
• 5:30 PM – Registration/Mix and Mingle
  
• 6:00 PM – Candidate Forum
  
• White Horse Inn: 6551 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA 94609 (COVID Vaccination required)
• Free pizza!!!

We will be making endorsements in a host of races (see below), including several local competitive races:

• Assembly District 20
• Senate District 10
• Alameda County Board of Supervisors District 3
• Alameda County District Attorney
• Alameda County Sherriff Coroner 

All are welcome to attend, but you must be an East Bay Stonewall member in good standing to vote in the endorsement process. The deadline to join/renew in order to be eligible to vote is March 23^rd.

How do I know if I am a member?

To see if your membership is current, login to the member portal. Your username is your email address. You can reset your password if you don't know it. If you have questions, send us an email (eastbaystonewalldems@gmail.com).

Can I still vote if I am unable to attend?

Yes, in fact all voting will happen through our website from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on March 30th.  You will need your login information to gain access, and you must be a member in good standing, with membership dues paid by March 23^rd. Candidate questionnaires will also be available on the website.

Which candidates are being invited to speak?

To be eligible for endorsement, a candidate must be: running for office in (or that includes) Alameda County; a registered Democrat; and eligible for endorsement by the Alameda County Democratic Party. Only candidates who submit a completed endorsement questionnaire will be eligible. Stonewall may consider endorsements in the following races:

• US Senate
• US Congress - District 12, 14, 17
• Governor
• Lt. Governor
• Attorney General
• Secretary of State
• Controller
• Treasurer
• Insurance Commissioner
• Superintendent of Public Instruction
• Board of Equalization
• CA Senate District 10
• CA Assembly Districts 15, 16, 18, 20 and 25
• Alameda County Board of Supervisors Districts 2 and 3
• Alameda County District Attorney
• Alameda County Sherriff Coroner
• Alameda County Assessor
• Alameda County Auditor-Controller/Clerk-Recorder
• Alameda County Treasurer/Tax Collector
• Alameda County Superintendent of Schools
